Lounge Around began when Jess the head designer saw a need in the market for styling homes. People often have a vision of what they would like a space to look or feel like, but are unsure how to pull it together successfully. LA help their clients make decisions and invest their dollars wisely to create a beautiful outcome they will love everyday.

Whether your looking at selling your home, re-painting, injecting new life into a favourite space, decorating an extension or renovation, or developing a scheme for a new build. LA can help pull the design threads together to create a cohesive, visually satisfying space to live in and love everyday.

Understanding the significance of a great home’s internal spaces, we appreciate that the interior design process can be overwhelming. “Decisions made on a home’s interior are decisions made on the spaces in which we will live, relax and entertain. “Then there are the limitless combinations of colour palettes, finishings and fixtures available. Yet through knowledge, creativity and close consultation with the client, we can ensure every room works well, feels great and is a reflection of their individual taste.

In line with Lounge Around’s commitment to achieving the best possible end result inside and out, Lounge Around's’ approach goes beyond offering token choices of set colour palettes. Working together with each client, we discuss a comprehensive set of considerations from fixtures and finishing options through to floor plans and furniture configurations.

The Lounge Around team has relationships with a diverse range of trade only suppliers including local and international designers, artists and craftsmen. Every project is unique and we will tailor our services to suit your individual requirements.

As for Lounge Around’s own signature style, Jess describes the Lounge Around style as “an oasis of calm where contemporary design meets a world of natural textures, elegant living and relaxed sophistication. Our natural classic look always evokes calm and cohesiveness, however knowing how to achieve this whilst integrating existing interiors can be a challenge. Our in house styling service is designed to help you through the process, whether it be a seasonal re-vamp or a complete interior makeover.

JESSIKA

Director / Interior Designer

Jessika is the head of LA, overseeing all projects. After a decade of working in retail as a manager/visual merchandiser and stylist for companies such as Guests Furniture Hire and Linen House, Jess decided to finally take the plunge to start LA. To follow her passion for interior styling, business management, product sourcing and photography. Using her natural eye for colour and detail. Jess has always been drawn to design and all things creative. Jess specialises in Interior Styling residential properties and display homes.

Jess has her diploma in Interior Design (graduating with high distinctions) and has also completed courses at the International School of Colour & Design along with a certificate in business.

YVONNE

Interior Decorator

Yvonne's extensive portfolio includes residential interior design, colour consulting and visual merchandising.

Yvonne specialises in colour consulting for residential & commercial properties and new design builds, choosing interior & exterior colours & finishes along with Interior Styling. Yvonne has a natural talent for colour and styling and with this her passion comes out in her work.

Yvonne believes that good design has the potential to not only create spaces that are functional and aesthetic but conducive to a positive wellbeing too.

Jess & Yvonne worked together years ago and became good friends. They always talked about collaborating together and now they are so excited to be working alongside each other doing what they are best at, creating beautiful homes and businesses.
